Race 12 – Gun Runner Trained by Hall of Fame Trainer Steve Asmussen, went unchallenged in the 1 ¼ mile G1 Breeders’ Cup 6,000,000 Classic. Race 11 – Talismanic (GB) wins the 4,000,000 Longines GI 1 ½ mile Breeders’ Cup Turf with Mickael Barzalona on board. British-bred Talismanic, owner Godolphin Stable Lessee, Trainer: Andre Fabre 4-year-old Godolphin homebred son of Medaglia d’Oro, rallied to win the BC Turf over Beach Patrol. Race 10 – Good Magic wins the Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile G1 $2 million Breeders’ Cup for trainer Chad Brown ridden by Jose Ortiz who had a 4 1/2-length victory. The 3/5 favorite Bolt d’Oro was third by 8 1/2 lengths. Click for Chart Pedigree

Race 9 – The 2017 Breeders’ Cup was a Breeders’ Cup of longshots. One of the favorites, World Approval did win the 2,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Mile Turf with John Velazquez on board. World Approval got into position, was unimpeded three-wide entering the stretch. Heart to Heart, who raced just off early leader Midnight Storm through swift fractions of :22.30, :45.65, and 1:10.04 for six furlongs, held a one-length advantage with a furlong to go, but tired. Race 8 – Roy H with jockey Kent Desormeaux on board defeated defending champion Drefong, the 7-5 favorite in the 6 furlongs G1- 1,500,000 TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint. The winner returned $11.80 to his supporters. Click for Chart Pedigree
Race 6 – Bar of Gold the five year old daughter of Medaglia d’Oro who was 30/1 M/L upset the 9/5 favorite Unique Bella in the Breeders’ Cup 1,000,000 Gr. I Filly and Mare Sprint after going off at 66-1 paying 135.40 for a 2.00 dollars ticket. Click for Chart Pedigree
Race 7 Friday – Battle of Midway wins the Gr 1- 1,000,000 Las Vegas Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile with Flavien Prat on board. Click for Chart Pedigree
Race 9 Friday – Forever Unbridled (Unbridled’s Song) wins the GI, 2,000,000 Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff with Johnny Velazquez on board. Charles Fipke’s Forever Unbridled (Unbridled’s Song), who chased home Beholder (Henny Hughes) and Songbird (Medaglia d’Oro) when third in an epic 2016 GI Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff, staved off a late rally from GI Kentucky Oaks winner Abel Tasman (Quality Road) to win the race’s 2017 renewal Friday at Del Mar and complete a perfect three-for-three season Click for Chart Pedigree
